What is Spirulina?, Spirulina is blue-green algae which can be used as a dietary supplement. It is also referred as super food. Now why it is referred as Super Food?, because it has high protein and vitamin content and has many health benefits. It was a food source for the Aztecs until 16th century. It is most researched super-food today. Spirulina grows in fresh as well as in salt water. It is consumed as dietary supplement and is available in various forms such as tablets, flake and powdered form. It has many health benefits.
